LUKA ORAMAS
Born on September 24, 2002, in Porto, Portugal, Luka Oramas is a Latin pop artist with a vibrant cultural heritage, blending the musical influences of his French and Cuban heritage. From an early age, Luka was immersed in Latin rhythms, with his father’s connection to Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue bands shaping his artistic identity. At just four years old, Luka began taking music lessons, setting the foundation for his lifelong passion. He later attended the Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho, where he graduated in drums and Afro-Cuban percussion.
In 2015, a move to Lyon, France, marked a pivotal moment in Luka’s journey. There, he connected with a music teacher who inspired him to explore his vocal abilities and songwriting. It wasn’t long before Luka penned his first lyrics, sparking his creative evolution. Although music wasn’t always part of his career plan, Luka’s persistence and determination led him to Portugal’s nightlife scene, where he networked with DJs and promoters. In 2020, he released his debut track, “La Playa, ” a summer anthem produced by Groove Addiction.
In early 2021, Luka collaborate as a songwriter and producer with renowned artists such as Neyo, Anselmo Ralph, Carlos Baute, Rick Ross, Cecilia Krull, and many more. In August 2024, Luka embarked on a new chapter, working on his debut solo project. Blending mature Latin grooves with pop sensibilities, the project showcases his evolution as an artist and his commitment to crafting music that resonates across cultures and genres. With his dynamic sound and authentic artistry, Luka Oramas continues to carve his path in the global music scene, captivating audiences and redefining Latin pop.
